Why?
To better understand the housings and supportive needs of the LGBTQ+ older adults in Southeast Michigan, the HOMES Coalition conducted a survey that began in 2020.
Who?
The HOMES Coalition is a collaboration of individuals and organizational representatives with interest in creating LGBTQ inclusive housing for older adults in Southeast Michigan.

The survey continued until 2022 due to delays caused by the COVID-10 pandemic. Analysis of the survey has been ongoing since then with the bulk of the work completed in 2023.
